Q&A with Heart Foundation funded researcher - Dr Thanh Nho Do

After receiving a Heart Foundation Vanguard Grant in 2020, Dr Thanh Nho Do has spent the last 3 years designing a soft skin-like robotic device that can help people with heart failure.

With new technology that will wrap around the heart using soft artificial muscles, and a miniature controller implanted under a person’s skin, this new device can improve the heart’s pumping action.

Read more about Dr Do’s research and how he believes his research will make a difference to people’s cardiovascular health in Australia.
